TUDOR CHRONOGRAPH 79260

WHY THIS WATCH - FULLY SERVICED, EXCELLENT CONDITION, ORIGINAL BRUSHED LUGS

THINGS TO MENTION - NO ORIGINAL PAPERS

One of the last ranges of Tudor watches to bear resemblance of those from parent company Rolex. They rounded out the vision of founder Hans Wilsdorf to create a brand equal to Rolex in design and performance but at a more affordable price point. The 792xx range continues with the aesthetic of the 94xxx and 791xx chronograph ranges but with a slimmer case profile. Gone are the 'Big Block' style case sides and in are slightly rounded, narrower sides giving the watch more wearable dimensions. The 792xx's offered the same dial and bezel combinations of the 791xx's, but later added more dial colour/finish options, different case material options and the, sometimes divisive, TIGER (Woods) collaboration. Regardless of dial and bezel combination, the influence of the Rolex Daytona is obvious throughout.

This example is offered with a black aluminium tachymetre bezel insert, sunburst silver dial with white subdials, and comes with the original jubilee bracelet. All elements of the watch and strap are in excellent condition and show very little to no signs of wear. They are accompanied by the original box. The valjoux 7750 movement has been fully serviced in preparation for the sale by our highly qualified watchmaker and comes with service warranty cards. We wouldn't go as far as to say these are collectors pieces just yet, but we'd wager a safe bet that they will be in years to come, and will likely continue their rise in value.
